Comenzaron a tocar a mediados de los 80 en Birmingham con una formación y un estilo bastantes diferentes a los actuales, con Mick harris a la batería, Justin Broadrick a la guitarra y Nik Bullen al bajo y a la voz. Juntos grabaron la cara A de "SCUM" en 1986 ,mas tarde abandonarían el grupo Broadrick (guitarra) y Bullen(bajo y voz) entrando en el grupo Bill steer (guitarra), Jim whitely (bajo) y Lee Dorrian (voz), esta seria la formación que grabaría la cara b de "SCUM" en 1987 y por fin saldría a la luz este primer y original trabajo de esta banda Un LP anticomercial con el que empezarían a darse a conocer. Mas tarde y con la misma formación grabarían las "Peel sessions". Una especie de recopilación de las manos de Jonh Peel. Luego en 1988 llegaría "From enslavement to Obliteration" mejor elaborado que su antecesor "Scum", un LP con temas como "Envolved as one", "Unchallenged hate", "Social sterility"... En este LP entro al bajo Shane Embury, sustituyendo a Jim Whitely. En 1989 con esta formación grabarían el EP "Mentally murdered", con 6 temas con los que cerrarían una etapa de "Napalm death", después de este trabajo abandonarían el grupo Bill Steer y Lee Dorrian para formar Carcass y Cathedral respectivamente. Rápidamente fueron sustituidos por Mark "Barney" Greenway (ex-Benediction)a la voz y por Jesse Pintado (ex-Terrorizer) a la guitarra. Se embarcan en una gira por UK y el resto de Europa junto a "Morbid Angel" y "Carcass". Poco tiempo después se les une un segundo guitarrista: Mitch Harris(ex-Righteous Pigs) y todos sus esfuerzos se centran en grabar un nuevo álbum, así nace "Harmony Corruption" su tercer LP en 1990. Con un estilo bien diferente a sus anteriores trabajos rozando el Death Metal pero sin llegar a ser tan denso como este estilo musical ,un LP que marca claramente una evolución musical mas que un cambio de estilo, con temas como "If the truth be now", "Mina sanare", "Sufre the chillaren", etc. Un año después grabarían "Mass appeal madness", un EP con 2 nuevos y 2 temas antiguos que son "Social sterility y "Unchallenged Hate". Después de este trabajo Napalm Death ya es un grupo consagrado y conocido en todas partes y es en este momento cuando Mick Harris (actualmente en Scorn) decide abandonar el grupo por diferencias musicales, así que de nuevo vuelve a ver un cambio entra Danny Herrera a la batería. Inmediatamente siguen de gira junto a Sepultura, Sacred reich y Sick of it all, dando varios conciertos por US. Más tarde viajan juntos a Rusia actuando ante 14000 personas en 2 actuaciones. Después de todo esto entran a grabar su 4ºLP que llevara por titulo "Utopia banished" ,un disco con 14 desgarrantes temas que tienen un sonido bastante mas crudo que su anterior trabajo que recuerdan en algunos fragmentos a los antiguos Napalm Death ,con temas como "Dementia acces" ,"Idiosyncratic" ,etc. Después de sacar este LP comienzan su gira "Campaing for Musical Destruction" junto a Dismenber y Obituary por Europa y siguen con Carcass y Cathedral y Brutal Truth por US. Después de esta gira sacarían al mercado una recopilación que lleva por titulo Death by manipulación. Siguiendo con la misma formación y gira tras gira sacarían al mercado el LP "Fear, Emptiness, Despair" en 1994, un LP diferente, con un sonido y unos ritmos densos. Tras la salida de este disco se embarcan en una gira junto a Emtombed, Obituary y Machine Head. Después de 2 años vuelven a la carga con un nuevo álbum: "Diatribes" su 6º LP que vendría anunciado en 1995 por un Mini LP titulado "Greed Killing". Temas contundentes y llenos de ritmo, con temas como "Greed Killing", "My own worst enemy", "Diatribes", etc. Después de este LP comienzan una gira junto a "At the gates" por Europa. A estas alturas Napalm Death es un grupo mas que conocido. Entoces sacan un nuevo LP ,el 7º que lleva por titulo "Inside the Torn Apart"(1997),siguiendo la misma línea que en su anterior trabajo con temas como "Birth in regress", "Down in the zero", "The lifeless alarm", etc.

M.O.D. (Method of Destruction) is a crossover thrash band from New York City, fronted by former Anthrax roadie and Stormtroopers Of Death vocalist Billy Milano. With M.O.D., Milano sought to continue on the musical path of the bands Anthrax and Nuclear Assault, mixing shades of hardcore punk with thrash metal and often humorous and politically incorrect lyrics.

Rollins Band es una banda de rock formada en 1986, por el cantante Henry Rollins residente en California. Se embarcaron en una intensa gira y se hicieron populares en Estados Unidos, lanzando su álbum de debut "Do It" en 1988. Su gran éxito les llegó en 1992 cuando editaron "The End of Silence", que incluía los hit singles "Low Self Opinion" y "Tearing". MTV fue una buena plataforma para la banda. Su siguiente éxito fue "Liar" en 1994. Sin embargo, la banda envejecía y Rollins reemplazó a todos los miembros en 1997. Con la nueva formación editó "Get Some Go Again" (2000) y "Nice" (2001).
